Each cohort of CODE Scholars partners with local community organizations, and their collaborations center on a particular “wicked problem” with both local and global manifestations.
A wicked problem is a complex and wide-reaching challenge with lots of interlocking facets that must be addressed holistically and systemically. CODE Scholars learn to draw on multiple skillsets and disciplines to address such problems in collaboration with their community partners, whose own expertise and experience are also crucial resources.
